Fulkerson procedure-patellar re-alignment

Keri V. is a past patient of Progressive Sports Rehab. After conservative management, therapies, injections, and arthroscopic surgery had failed to relieve her pain, Keri underwent a Fulkerson procedure. The Fulkerson procedure is an open surgery that re-aligns the patella(knee cap) to allow a better congruency with the groove of the femur(thigh bone).  Rehabilitation post-operatively will involve 6-8 weeks of immobilization and non-weight bearing to allow bone healing, and ROM and strength exercise to re-gain function. Keri has a long road of recovery ahead of her and we wish her luck!

Having numerous orthopedic problems over the years Jon & Charles are the answers to my aches and pains. Anytime I needed physical therapy they are the only people I trust. When I learned they were opening PSR I was one of their first patients. You could not find two more compassionate gentlemen dedicated to improving their patient’s well being. They put the Care in healthcare. - Diane C
